It's corking to see that the anthology "The Secrets Of The Black Arts" has finally been reissued on vinyl. Apart from the ultra limited versions from the Chinese label "Northeast Steel Industry", which are sold out per day past pre-society (if I'one thousand not mistaken, no more than than 100 copies in one colour), the last vinyl printing was about v years ago and those copies were sold quite quickly. This time I decided to participate in the Osmose pre-order, as fourth dimension has shown - on the labels webstore, this album in blue/black marble (400) and aureate (200) colors was sold out in almost a week. Well, this album turned out to exist really in demand, the new reissue was fabricated merely perfectly.

The edition makes a great impression. Unfortunately, I can't compare the sound characteristics with other vinyl editions, but in my collection there is an old disc with original version of the anthology (Abyss Studios) and manifestly the sound on this vinyl is more expressive. The sound is more balanced and detailed; this is especially noticeable in the intense fast fragments, where a musical massacre of tremolos and boom beats begins. Although, when a band sounds like a circular saw, there is also a certain creative intent in this. Simply I am withal inclined to believe that high-quality remastering allowed to reveal the potential of this record more.

The playback quality of the vinyl itself does not crusade any questions, the audio is clear and loud. Moreover, the vinyl visually looks fantastic and organically correlates with the palette of the original encompass. It is also worth noting separately the quality of printing: a gatefold with thick paper, in the attachment a rather large poster with artwork (past the fashion, there was a absurd black-and-white photograph shoot for the release of this album at the fourth dimension, some kind of bandphoto could be used to design a ii-sided poster). Otherwise, the edition turned out to be very solid and worthy of a place in many collections.

This pressing is actually nicely laid out, it comes in a gatefold with the original artwork past necrolord. I had the cd version from back in 1996, and this sounds just as skilful if not better.

Ridiculous new vinyl trend purely for flippers. Swedish black metal made in China, which has no tradition in Metal music at all. Practice Not Back up!!

A quintessential swedish black metal record for anyone (beginner or veteran) hunting for the classic xc's second wave of black metal. This is real backened history goin on here ladies and gentlemen, so get it while it's notwithstanding available.
